Why CareKeeper
Caregiving at home creates a lot of small facts that someone else may need quickly.
CareKeeper was originally an app I built while caring for my parents during their final months with at-home hospice. I was the sole caregiver and couldn't find a good way to track medications, appointments, symptoms, reactions, and the dozens of small facts that the home-health aides would ask me through the day or in an emergency at 2am.
As running that app turned into its own job, I wanted to take what I learned and share it with others in a similar situation. So CareKeeper takes those input screens and instead helps you build checklists and guides. Nothing here asks for an account, a password, or your loved one's medical details. Nothing is stored anywhere. You fill it in, you print it, you write on it, you keep it in a binder or a kitchen drawer.
CareKeeper does not replace the people who know your situation. Use it to bring clearer notes to your care team, doctor, pharmacist, social worker, attorney, or emergency services.
You're not alone in this. I hope it helps a little.
